Large amounts of snowfall hit the Western New York region during the overnight hours. There were reports of accumulation of over seven inches in the surrounding area. The decision to cancel the entire card was due to the poor weather conditions.

Jockey John Davila, Jr. notched his 4000th career win at Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack on Monday, October 29. He reached the milestone when Pretty Wild Posie scored a narrow victory in the first race.
