FARMINGTON, N.Y. – Miss Lily B scored a seven and one-quarter length victory in the $50,000 Niagara Stakes at Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack on Monday. The Chris Englehart-trainee won the six furlong dash for New York-bred 3-year-old fillies in a final time of 1:10.63.

The chestnut filly made her fourth consecutive winners circle visit after the convincing triumph. She was guided to her first stakes victory by jockey John Davila, Jr.

Miss Lily B has been no worse than second in any of her eight lifetime starts. She improved her career earnings to a sum of $84,220 and paid $13.60, $4.90 and $3.10. Stonesintheroad held the second place position and returned $2.60 and $2.70. Cartwheelin Lulu was third and paid $3.30.

NY-bred 3-year-old males will do battle in the next stakes event on the 2019 live racing calendar. The $50,000 Ontario County Stakes will be contested at a distance of six furlongs on Monday, June 24.
