FARMINGTON, N.Y. – NBC Dateline is expected to run a story which will feature a trainer and horse that are based at Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack (FLGR). The national weekly news series will air the segment during the 8:00 pm show on Sunday, May 4.
Tim Snyder’s good luck story with Lisa’s Booby Trap has attracted a great deal of media attention since 2010. Snyder purchased the Florida-bred mare with a blind left eye and a club foot for $4,500. Lisa’s Booby Trap won her first four career starts for Snyder including the Loudonville Stakes at Saratoga on August 6, 2010.
The $182,440 earner won five of her six Finger Lakes starts the following season including two victories against male rivals. She was voted 2011 FLGR Horse of the Year for her achievements at her home track.
