Wolfgang Puck Express eatery part of popular regional entertainment destination’s
$12 million expansion to open in late October

FARMINGTON, N.Y. – Finger Lakes Casino & Racetrack is developing a restaurant concept by internationally known legendary chef Wolfgang Puck as part of the popular regional entertainment destination’s $12 million expansion, set to open in late October.
The 102-seat Wolfgang Puck Express will feature the chef’s most popular dishes and other classics in a fast-casual setting. The menu includes Puck’s signature, hand-crafted gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, soups, and fresh salads, including his famous Chinois Chicken™ salad.
Finger Lakes Casino & Racetrack is the first Wolfgang Puck Express location in New York state outside of New York City.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring the incredible cuisine of Wolfgang Puck to the Rochester and Finger Lakes regions,” said Chris Riegle, president and general manager of Finger Lakes Casino & Racetrack.
“The addition of Wolfgang Puck Express is a signature part of our expansion and will help enhance Finger Lakes as a great entertainment destination. It’s the perfect complement to our extremely popular Vineyard Buffet, Platinum Grille and Tim Hortons outlets,” Riegle said.

Also being added is Remedy, a new feature bar, providing seating for 147, an 18-foot (220-inch) high-
definition projection screen, 22 televisions, stage and dance floor. An expanded players club, coat check and back-of-the-house office space round out the amenity additions.
The $12 million expansion represents the largest project at Finger Lakes since the addition of video gaming machines in 2004. The nearly 33,000-square-foot addition will accommodate space for 350 additional machines, bringing the venue’s total to 1,549.
At Wolfgang Puck Express, patrons can place orders at a counter and then relax while a server brings their orders to the table. The menu is still being finalized; however, a sampling of some of the dishes on the menu includes:
  • Chinois Chicken Salad – Crispy wontons, cashews, ginger & sesame honey dressing
  • Four-Cheese Pesto Pizza – Goat cheese, mozzarella, fontina, parmesan with fresh and sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Roasted Turkey Club Sandwich – Avocado jardiniere, bacon, red onions, romaine, tomatoes, remoulade.
  • Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf – Mashed pottos, port wine sauce, crispy onion strings.
The dishes will be prepared under the direction of Finger Lakes Executive Chef Dave McDonald, who has served as executive chef for Finger Lakes since 2011. McDonald and his culinary team are working with Wolfgang Puck Worldwide, Inc. one of Puck’s three companies and the division that oversees the Wolfgang Puck Express brand.
Finger Lakes worked with LSE Architects of Minneapolis to create a comfortable, contemporary design for the restaurant that complements the Wolfgang Puck Express brand. The expansion includes a new kitchen and brick pizza for the new restaurant.
Delaware North Companies, a global hospitality and food service company that owns and operates Finger Lakes Casino & Racetrack through its gaming and entertainment division, operates two Wolfgang Puck Express restaurants at Los Angeles International Airport through its travel hospitality services division. Delaware North Companies is based in Buffalo.
